Both tests are approved by NCBTMB and by any state massage licensing boards or professional organizations that accept NCBTMB-approved tests for their licensing requirements, including North Carolina. In addition, the tests are approved for Nebraska state licensing requirements.

The 6 CE Hour test meets NCBTMB requirements for 6 hour in Ethics, including

• 2 hours Roles and Boundaries
  
• 2 hours Professionalism
  
• 1 hour Confidentiality
  
• 1 hour Prevention of Sexual Misconduct
